Swiss Museum for Electronic Music Instruments

The smem (Swiss Museum and Centre for Electronic Music Instruments) in Fribourg houses one of the world's most important collections of electronic music instruments, with around 5,000 devices in its Schaulager. Visitors can explore synthesizers, drum machines, and effects equipment, and experiment with selected instruments in the Playroom.

Families and Kids

The smem offers workshops for families and school groups, such as 'Draw Your Sound' where participants create music by drawing. The Playroom allows children to experiment with synthesizers. Guided tours are free for children under 10.
