Swiss Bier Museum

Museum dedicated to Swiss brewing history, located on the site of the former Cardinal brewery in Fribourg. The permanent exhibition of over 600 m² covers the key stages of beer production, life at the brewery, and the history of Cardinal. The museum also features a historic bistro and the Fermentarium space for temporary exhibitions and workshops.

Families and Kids

Children under 16 enter free but must be accompanied by an adult. The museum offers a self-guided tour with signage in French, German and English. The visit lasts about 30-45 minutes. The historic bistro can provide drinks. The Fermentarium space hosts workshops and activities.
