Steam Centre
The Dampfzentrum in Winterthur houses the most extensive collection of international steam technology in Switzerland. In an old factory hall, around 500 tons of cultural assets from the industrialization period are presented, including stationary steam engines, marine engines, locomotives and models.
Families and Kids
Children under 7 years have free admission. The collection of true-to-original models by Hans Kläy delights young and old, and young people can be introduced to their operation. There are no special children's activities or play areas.
