St.Beatus Caves Museum

The St. Beatus Caves Museum is located in Sundlauenen near Interlaken on Lake Thun in Switzerland and is the ideal introduction to the cave experience. Interactive stations bring geology, cave research and the legend of Saint Beatus to life. Three themed worlds lead from the formation of the stalactite cave through prehistoric finds to the Beatus legend. An app guide in German, English and French accompanies visitors through the exhibition, which also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.

The cave museum is designed for all age groups and offers interactive stations to touch, see and hear. Children can admire fossils and minerals and discover the history of cave research. The museum visit is included in the cave admission and combines ideally with the Flimbo path and the playground.
