Spiez Castle

Schloss Spiez is a historic castle complex on Lake Thun with a museum showcasing 1300 years of history, featuring the lives of three noble families: von Strättligen, von Bubenberg, and von Erlach. The site includes a Romanesque castle church with 13th-century frescoes, a castle café, and a park with herb and rose gardens.

Families and Kids

Schloss Spiez offers many activities for children and families, including the Rittertrail (knight trail) for ages 6-12, a family guided tour for ages 5+, and hands-on stations in the tower with knight armor and medieval costumes. The museum is not accessible with strollers.
