SiLO12 The Industrial Museum on the Theme of Stone

SiLO12 is a small industrial museum located in the silo building of a disused quarry in the Baselbieter Jura in Läufelfingen, Switzerland. It is a place of encounter between testimonies of former industrial culture, contemporary artistic creation and uncomplicated hospitality. The museum presents changing exhibitions on industrial history and general historical themes, and also offers artists space for guest exhibitions and further cultural events. The historic silo building, with its original mechanical conveyor systems and stone crusher, provides a unique setting.
