Sherlock Holmes Museum
The Sherlock Holmes Museum in Lucens, Switzerland, is housed in the "Maison Rouge" and is dedicated to the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It displays books and objects related to Sherlock Holmes, as well as furniture and personal belongings of the great British writer. The museum features an exact reproduction of the Baker Street sitting room of Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, created after the 1951 Festival of Britain, filled with hundreds of authentic objects that inspired Conan Doyle's stories. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and events.
