The Segantini Museum in St. Moritz, Switzerland, houses the most comprehensive and significant collection of works by Giovanni Segantini, one of the world's great masters of Alpine painting and a leading Symbolist. The collection includes 37 paintings and 26 drawings, featuring the monumental Alpine Triptych "Life – Nature – Death" as well as famous works such as "Ave Maria Crossing the Lake" and "Midday in the Alps". The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:45), closed on Mondays. The museum is open from May 20 to October 20 and from December 10 to April 12.

  • Are baby strollers allowed in the exhibition rooms?
    Baby strollers are not allowed in the exhibition rooms. You can leave any strollers at reception or in the cloakroom.
  • Is the museum currently fully accessible by wheelchair?
    Due to a stairlift malfunction, the domed hall housing the Alpine Triptych is currently not reachable by wheelchair. The two lower exhibition rooms remain wheelchair accessible.
  • Can I leave my bags and backpacks somewhere?
    Bags and backpacks have to be locked in the lockers at the entrance.
  • Are guided tours available for groups?
    Guided tours of the Segantini exhibition last around 45 minutes and are limited to a maximum of 20 people. Reservations are mandatory for all groups, and tours are only possible outside normal opening hours.
