Seebad Enge

The Seebad Enge is a floating lake bath on Lake Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland, offering a mixed bath and a women's bath with direct lake access, two outdoor pools, two 44-metre swimming lanes, a non-swimmer pool and a diving board. During the summer season it also operates a sauna on Sundays and offers a range of wellness, massage, SUP, yoga and swimming training activities. The bath is open from May to September and is not suitable for children as there are no play facilities.

FAQ

  • Are there age restrictions for children?
    The bath is not suitable for children because there are no play facilities. Dogs and pushchairs must remain outside at all times for hygiene and fire safety reasons.
  • Can I rent towels, swimsuits or lockers at the bath?
    Yes, the bath rents out towels, swimsuits and locks for the changing lockers. In the sauna, towels (CHF 4) and bathrobes (CHF 9) can also be rented.
  • Is the sauna open during the summer season?
    During the bathing season (9 May – 20 September 2026) the sauna opens on Sunday evenings, from 19:00 to 23:00 in May and from 20:00 to 23:00 from June onwards, with a few exceptions. The maximum stay is 3 hours.
  • Can I reserve a spot in the restaurant or for events?
    Reservations in the mixed area are possible from 18:00 in May/September and from 19:00 in June/July/August, for groups of at least 15 people. The left part of the bath can be rented exclusively for events from mid-May to mid-September.
  • Are there wellness and massage offers at the bath?
    Yes, massages are available daily from 11:00 to 19:00 (Thursdays until 20:00), and energy work sessions are offered on Mondays from 11:00 to 20:00. Reservations are binding and must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
