Schlossmuseum Nidau
The Schlossmuseum Nidau in Nidau, Switzerland, is dedicated to the Jura water correction, a landmark project that protects the Three-Lakes region from flooding and transformed it into a fertile agricultural area. Three permanent exhibitions cover the history of water regulation, the physician and politician Dr. Johann Rudolf Schneider, and past and future visions for the Seeland region. Numerous videos and display panels complement the exhibitions. The museum also offers guided tours, teaching materials and books on the subject.
Families and Kids
The Schlossmuseum Nidau offers school classes teaching material for two age levels as well as a crossword puzzle. The exhibition can be visited with or without a guided tour, and after the visit the castle park invites visitors to have a picnic.
