Schlossmuseum Nidau
Museum in Nidau Castle dedicated to the Jura water correction (Juragewässerkorrektion), a major Swiss hydraulic engineering project. Three permanent exhibitions cover the history, the key figure Dr. Johann Rudolf Schneider, and future visions for the Three-Lakes region. The museum explores flood protection, land reclamation, and climate change impacts.

The museum offers free entry and is suitable for school classes. Teaching materials are available for two age levels (lower and upper school). Guided tours can be booked for groups. A picnic in the castle park is possible after the visit.
