Roman Museum of Vallon

Archaeological museum built on the site of a Roman villa, featuring two exceptional mosaics (the Bacchus and Ariadne mosaic and the Venatio hunting mosaic) and a collection of bronze statuettes of Celtic, Greco-Roman and Egyptian deities from the household shrine (laraire). A scale model reconstructs the 3rd-century Roman dwelling.

Families and Kids

The museum offers guided tours suitable for children, workshops from age 7 (some from age 4), birthday parties, and special holiday activities for children aged 7-12. Workshops include mosaic-making, Roman games, writing like Romans, and making perfumed salt or Roman bread.
