Ritterhaus Bubikon
The Ritterhaus Bubikon in Bubikon, Switzerland, is the best-preserved commandery of the Order of Saint John (Johanniter) in the country. Its permanent exhibition presents the history of the order and of the house, including the Johann Jakob Vogel collection of around 220 antique weapons. The herb garden (Epochen-Kräutergarten) shows how plants were used in different historical eras, and a library holds works from the 16th century to today, including the famous chronicle by Johannes Stumpf. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
