Regional Museum Gantrisch

The Regional Museum Gantrisch in Schwarzenburg (Switzerland) is a local history museum that preserves the folkloric, historical and cultural past of the region between the Sense and the Gürbetal. The permanent exhibition «Gantrisch steinreich» presents geological finds from the region, which can be explored with additional information via touchscreen monitors. As a documentation centre, the museum holds publications, sources and over 4,000 inventoried objects in five depots. It also presents changing special exhibitions on regional history.
Families and Kids
The museum also offers families and children interesting insights into regional history, including audio stations, old photographs and participatory elements. Children and young people up to 16 years receive a reduced admission.
