Rätisches Museum
The Rätisches Museum in Chur, Switzerland, is the historical museum of the canton of Graubünden, presenting the region's history from its beginnings to the present day. Housed in a baroque patrician house in the old town, its permanent exhibition spans four floors and covers archaeological, cultural-historical and folkloric objects from the whole canton, from prehistory through the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque to the 19th and 20th centuries. The collection comprises around 100,000 objects, and the museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
Families and Kids
The museum offers special activities for children and families, including a children's city map of Chur's old town, a medieval reading trail in the castle room where children can try on medieval clothes and play games, and special offers for children in the permanent and special exhibitions. School class programmes are free of charge.
