Pratteln Castle
Pratteln Castle is a historic moated castle in the village centre of Pratteln in Switzerland. Planned in 1275 by the Lords of Eptingen, the castle was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1356 and later served as a poorhouse. Today the landmark of Pratteln is open to the public and houses exhibitions, events and the weekly meetings of the municipal and citizens' council. Guided castle tours are offered.
