Photo Elysée
Photo Elysée is the cantonal museum for photography in Lausanne, Switzerland, located in the arts district Plateforme 10. It holds one of the world's richest photography collections, with over a million objects spanning from the earliest processes of the 1840s to contemporary digital images. The museum presents the diversity of photographic practices through its exhibitions, publications and cultural mediation, and supports contemporary creation. It also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
Families and Kids
Photo Elysée offers workshops for children and families that explore photography through various artistic practices such as collage, drawing, printing and painting. A free visit support with ten questions turns observation into a game for family visits. The museum also welcomes young children and school groups with adapted conditions.
