Parc Polaire
Parc Polaire is an animal park located in the Jura mountains in Chaux-Neuve, France, at an altitude of 1200 metres in the Risoux forest. Visitors are guided by animal keepers through the enclosures to meet Eurasian wildlife such as red deer, reindeer, yaks, mouflons, chamois, fallow deer, European bison and tarpan horses. The park participates in a European breeding and conservation programme (EEP) for the European bison and the European forest reindeer. The site also includes a free-access mini farm, an educational exhibition and a film about the park.
