Palais de Rumine

The Palais de Rumine in Lausanne houses two museums and a library: the Musée cantonal d'archéologie et d'histoire (archaeology and history), the Naturéum (geology and zoology), and the Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire. It features permanent exhibitions on archaeology, history, geology, and zoology, as well as temporary exhibitions on various scientific and cultural topics.

Families and Kids

The Palais de Rumine offers activities for children and families including geological Wednesdays where a geologist answers questions, family workshops (from 6 years old), and guided tours. School groups are welcome free of charge during opening hours.
