Ortsmuseum Höngg
The Ortsmuseum Höngg in the historic winegrowing farmhouse «zum Chranz» (1506) presents the development of the Zurich district from a winegrowing village to an urban quarter. The collection includes hundreds of objects, documents and photographs on local history. The museum is being renovated until mid-2026 with a new exhibition concept.
Families and Kids
The Ortsmuseum offers school classes and young people workshops, oral history interviews and podcasts. Children and young people can contribute their own questions about history and interview older people about their childhood. The museum is currently closed until mid-2026.
