Ortsmuseum Altstetten
The Ortsmuseum Altstetten in Zurich, Switzerland, is housed in the oldest surviving farmhouse in the Altstetten quarter, the heritage-listed Studerhaus, which opened as a museum in 1973. The exhibition shows the life of earlier generations with a faithfully furnished farmhouse kitchen, parlours, bedrooms and an open attic with visible timber construction. The collection includes household and field tools, craftsmen's tools, furniture and clothing as well as agricultural implements. The local history commission also archives photographs and documents from the former municipality and the later Altstetten quarter.
