Ortsmuseum Albisrieden
The Ortsmuseum Albisrieden in Zurich, Switzerland, presents the history of the former farming village of Albisrieden, which developed into a city district. The collection in the house «zum Obren Haller» at the village square by the old church depicts rural life, with a smoke kitchen, parlour and chamber, as well as tools from the pewter foundry, barber, shoemaker, blacksmith and cooper. The Chilezimmer contains church objects, Bibles and 18th-century communion vessels. The museum also houses an archive with documents and a photo collection and hosts changing special exhibitions.
