Oberhofen Castle

Oberhofen Castle is located in Oberhofen on Lake Thun in Switzerland and is a romantic castle complex with a keep built around 1200. Since 1954 the castle has housed a museum that tells the history of its former inhabitants, with a focus on the 19th century. Permanent exhibitions include 'Noble Life around 1900', 'Always at Your Service' and 'In the Kitchen'. The magnificent castle park with its hornbeam avenue, orangery and Swiss cross is one of the most beautiful gardens in the Alpine region.
