The large Obere Au outdoor pool in Chur, Switzerland, lies by the Rhine at the foot of the Calanda mountain. It features an extensive sunbathing lawn with shady trees and views of the mountain panorama around Chur, a 50-metre pool with 8 lanes, a learning pool with slides and a spacious children's paddling pool. Sports enthusiasts can play table tennis, use the group fitness area or the pirate-themed playground, and guests can grill their own food or eat at the sports restaurant. The swimming pool was included in the official list of Olympic pools category A by Swiss Aquatics in 2021.
