Natural History Museum of Solothurn

The Natural History Museum of Solothurn presents local flora and fauna, fossils, and minerals across three floors. Exhibits cover native mammals, aquatic and airborne animals, and earth history with fossils from when Solothurn was a tropical sea. The museum also features dinosaur tracks from Lommiswil and changing special exhibitions twice a year.

Families and Kids

The museum offers detective stories for families with children aged 6+, a digital scavenger hunt through Solothurn, a podcast series for children, and a free museum quiz. Children can touch many exhibits and sit in a dinosaur footprint replica.
