Museum Walserhaus Gurin
Ethnographic museum in Bosco Gurin, the highest year-round inhabited village in Ticino (1506 m a.s.l.), housed in one of the oldest Alpine houses (1386). It presents the history, language, architecture, art, agriculture, and customs of the Walser community through multiple thematic sections including a linguistic museum, a living museum, and a ProSpecieRara garden.
Families and Kids
Children aged 6-16 have a reduced admission fee. The museum offers craft activities, educational paths, storytelling evenings, and guided tours suitable for families. The living museum rooms and the ProSpecieRara garden provide hands-on exploration of traditional Walser life.
