Museum of the Typewriter

The Musée de la Machine à Écrire (MMàE) in Lausanne is Switzerland's first museum dedicated exclusively to typewriters and office machines. Its collection of over 1,000 typewriters, 150 calculating machines, and related accessories traces the technological evolution of writing tools from the late 19th century to the present day.

Families and Kids

The museum offers a 'bar à taper' where children can try out five functional typewriters. The collection showcases the evolution of writing tools, which may appeal to curious young visitors interested in vintage technology.
