Museum Neuthal Textile & Industrial Culture

The Museum Neuthal is located in a former cotton spinning mill built in 1827 in Bäretswil, Zurich Oberland. It showcases the history of the textile industry with functioning spinning, weaving, and embroidery machines, as well as a historic water power system.

Families and Kids

The museum offers a children's puzzle trail 'Der Schatz vom Neuthal' (ages 5+), a family puzzle (ages 6+), and a children's parcours. The outdoor area features a picnic place and a short hike to waterfalls. Recommended for children aged 5 and up.
