Museum Neuthal Textile & Industrial Culture
The Museum Neuthal Textile & Industrial Culture in Bäretswil in the Zurich Oberland (Switzerland) presents the history of industrialisation and the textile industry on the site of a former cotton spinning mill built in 1827. Visitors can experience working historical spinning, weaving and embroidery machines as well as the historic water power plant with ponds and turbines. The museum is part of the Zurich Oberland Industrial Trail and the starting point of the Guyer-Zeller hiking trails. It also hosts changing special exhibitions.

Families and Kids

For families there is a family puzzle with which children aged 6 and up can explore the museum playfully. In addition, the children's trail 'The Treasure of Neuthal' for children aged 5 and up offers a puzzle book with treasure map that is freely accessible 365 days a year. The Fledermaus picnic area and the hiking trails invite families to a day out.
