Museum Langenthal
Museum Langenthal in Langenthal, Switzerland, is a regional museum in the Altes Amtshaus presenting the history and geography of Langenthal and the Oberaargau region. The permanent exhibition shows archaeological and geological finds, building ceramics from St. Urban monastery, Langenthal porcelain, and the development of Langenthal from a medieval village to a regional centre. Special exhibitions are shown on the ground floor, the history of Langenthal and surroundings on the first floor, and geography and geology on the second floor. The museum regularly complements its programme with changing special exhibitions on regional themes.
