Museum Krauchthal

Museum Krauchthal features a permanent exhibition on the themes of sandstone, Thorberg, and rural cultural heritage. It offers guided tours in the museum and along the Sandsteinpfad, a 2.5 km hiking trail through disused quarries. An audio guide also leads around Thorberg prison.

Families and Kids

The Sandsteinpfad offers attractions for young and old on 2.5 km. Children can immortalize themselves in the stone guest book with original stonemason tools. The museum shows films and exhibitions on local history.
