FAQ

  • Can the library and study of C.G. Jung be visited without a guided tour?
No. The library and study of C.G. Jung on the upper floor can only be visited as part of a public guided tour, which lasts about 50 minutes and is held in English or German.
  • Is the museum accessible for wheelchair users?
The museum is located in a listed building from 1909 with no lift or ramps. Access to the ground floor involves stairs, and the upper floor is only reachable via two staircases with 13 steps each. The museum WC is wheelchair accessible and located outside.
  • Can I visit the museum without booking a ticket in advance?
Yes, the museum can be visited without prior registration, subject to availability. However, without an online ticket, participation in a guided tour is not guaranteed, and at times of high visitor numbers entry may be temporarily refused.
  • Are there individual guided tours for people with disabilities?
Yes, individually tailored exhibition accompaniment can be organised for people with disabilities upon prior registration, ideally several weeks in advance. For people with impairments, one hour of individual accompaniment is included in the museum admission during regular opening hours.
  • Is the garden open to all visitors?
The garden can be explored by visitors during opening hours, but only with a valid ticket. The garden is on different levels and is only accessible via uneven stone and gravel paths, partly with steps.
