Museum Fram

The Museum Fram in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, is a regional cultural museum that tells the story of the “village of the world” Einsiedeln. The permanent exhibition “Ein Dorf von Welt” (A Village of the World) presents the past, present and future of Einsiedeln as an interface of intellectual export and import. The collection comprises three sub-collections: the estate archive of the Benziger publishing house, the Karl Hensler/Einsiedlensia collection on regional cultural and economic history, and a collection devoted to the Einsiedeln poet Meinrad Lienert. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
