Museum Fischerhaus

Museum Fischerhaus in Öhningen-Wangen presents archaeological finds from the Neolithic stilt house settlements of Wangen, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The exhibition includes pottery, stone, bone and antler tools, as well as paleontological fossils from the Öhninger layers, including a famous giant salamander. A reconstructed stilt house on the lakeshore complements the exhibition.

Families and Kids

Children and adolescents have free admission. The museum displays archaeological finds and fossils; a reconstructed stilt house on the lakeshore brings the Stone Age to life.
