Museum Burgdorf Castle

The Museum Burgdorf Castle tells the story of the castle, the region and its global context in a multimedia format across over 20 rooms on 1500 m². It combines a historical collection, an ethnological collection and the Goldkammer Schweiz in a concept of cabinets of curiosities and themed rooms.

Families and Kids

The museum offers special family castle tours and workshops for children aged 4 and up, including a tour with the castle ghost Burdtli, a time travel to the Middle Ages and a siege workshop. Children up to 12 years may only enter the museum accompanied by an adult.
