Museum Burg Zug
The Museum Burg Zug is a historical museum housed in Zug Castle, the oldest surviving secular building in the town of Zug, Switzerland. Its permanent exhibition presents the cultural history of the Canton of Zug from the High Middle Ages to the present, with themed rooms covering governance and warfare, religion and the Baroque world, residential culture, arts and crafts, and coinage. The collection comprises some 50,000 objects, of which about one thousand are on display at any given time. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions on current topics.
