Museum Blumenstein

Historical museum housed in a baroque country estate in Solothurn, showcasing the life of a patrician family and their servants 300 years ago. Permanent exhibitions cover the city history of Solothurn over 2000 years, archaeology from the region, and a historic pharmacy. Special exhibitions include a Rococo nativity scene and a display on body fluids through the centuries.

Children aged 7 and up can participate in free apothecary workshops (pill rolling, herbal teas) and fairy tale matinees. Birthday parties for children aged 7+ are available. The archaeology exhibition features models and audio stories for young and old.
