Museum Blumenstein
Museum Blumenstein in Solothurn, Switzerland, is a history museum housed in an 18th-century baroque country estate. It presents the life of a wealthy Solothurn patrician family and their servants 300 years ago, as well as the everyday life of the city's inhabitants over the past 2000 years. Permanent exhibitions include the Blumenstein estate, the city history of Solothurn, archaeological finds in the Pächterhaus, and a pharmacy-history apothecary in the Alten Spital. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
Families and Kids
The museum offers children's birthday parties for children aged 7 and above, organised by museum educators. The archaeology exhibition in the Pächterhaus is designed for young and old alike, with models and audio stories.
