Museum Alpin
The Museum Alpin in Pontresina (Switzerland) is a multifaceted exhibition venue for the mountain world: the fauna, flora and geology of the Grisons mountains are presented here as well as Alpine culture. The exhibitions on summer and winter alpinism provide insight into the pioneering days of mountaineering, from the conquest of the Bernina Massif to modern alpinism. Further permanent exhibitions cover the development of the SAC huts, multimedia shows and the Camera Museum Flury-Lochau collection. The museum is located in the Chesa Delnon, an Engadin building from 1716, and a visit can be rounded off with a quiet moment in the POSETTA Alpine Garden. The museum also presents changing special exhibitions.
