Museo San Salvatore

The Museo San Salvatore, located on the summit of Mount San Salvatore in Lugano, Switzerland, opened in 1999 and is housed in a restored 17th-century hospice. The museum presents collections of religious art objects from the Archfraternity of Good Death and Prayer, as well as permanent exhibitions on geology, speleology and lightning research. Spread over two floors, it also hosts changing temporary exhibitions linked to the history of the mountain and its structures.
