Museo d'arte Mendrisio
The Museo d'arte Mendrisio is an art museum in Mendrisio, Switzerland, housed in the historic Servite convent complex. Founded in 1982, it presents temporary exhibitions dedicated to major 20th-century masters and contemporary artists, as well as displays showcasing its own collection. The museum holds a collection of over 5,000 works spanning from the 16th century to contemporary production, including more than 600 'Trasparenti' paintings used in the UNESCO-listed Holy Week processions. Its venues include Casa Pessina for photography exhibitions and Casa Croci, home of the Museo del Trasparente.
