Musée Voltaire

The Musée Voltaire, located in Geneva, Switzerland, is housed in Les Délices, the historic residence where the philosopher Voltaire lived from 1755 to 1760. The Bibliothèque de Genève holds one of the world's most important collections on Voltaire and the reception of the Enlightenment, including manuscripts, printed works, paintings and objects that belonged to the philosopher. The collection features numerous manuscripts, including Voltaire's correspondence, as well as iconographic pieces and statuary. The site also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and guided tours.
