Musée Rath

Musée Rath
Located in Geneva, Switzerland, the Musée Rath is the first Swiss museum dedicated to the fine arts and hosts the major temporary exhibitions organized by the Musée d'art et d'histoire (MAH). Opened to the public in 1826 in the heart of Geneva, it is one of the first museums in Europe designed from the outset to house and display works of art. Its renewed programming focuses on private or public collections, watchmaking in partnership with the Grand Prix d'horlogerie de Genève, and collaboration with Geneva institutions. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
