Musée jurassien d'art et d'histoire

The Musée jurassien d'art et d'histoire in Delémont, Switzerland, is a museum dedicated to the history, art and heritage of the Jura region. Its diverse collections span historical, artistic, archaeological and ethnographic objects, including treasures from Jura churches, paintings, engravings, drawings, crafts and industry, archaeology, documents and maps, everyday objects and sculptures. The permanent exhibition presents the Jura through its clichés and symbols, while the museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions on social issues. Highlights include the oldest known decorated crosier in the world and the remains of the carriage that took King Louis XVI to his coronation in 1775.
