Musée gruérien
The Musée gruérien in Bulle, Switzerland, has been examining and highlighting the cultural heritage of the Gruyère region since 1917. Located close to the historical centre of Bulle, the museum offers a permanent exhibition circuit entitled "Gruyère | Footprints and Detours" presenting an important collection of Folk Art from the area, including poyas, bells and cream spoons. Reconstructions of interiors and themed areas tell of the economic, religious and social history of the region's inhabitants between the 16th and 20th centuries, from farmers' rooms and mountain cheese dairies to objects of popular piety and everyday life. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and offers guided tours of the city of Bulle.
Families and Kids
The museum offers animations for families and children, including creative workshops and storytelling sessions for children from age 4. Many of these activities are free of charge and take place on specific dates.
