Musée d'Yverdon et région
The Musée d'Yverdon et région (MYR) is a museum of archaeology and history located in the medieval castle in the heart of the old town of Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. One of the oldest museums in the canton of Vaud, it preserves important collections of regional archaeology covering prehistory and the Gallo-Roman and medieval periods, as well as exceptional ethnographic and Egyptological collections. It also holds some ten thousand objects relating to the cultural and artistic history of Yverdon and its surroundings, including iconography, paintings, photographs and decorative arts. The museum hosts a permanent exhibition spanning four floors and over 1500 m², as well as changing temporary exhibitions.

The museum's permanent exhibition offers a journey through 10,000 years of history across four floors, which can be discovered as a family. The archaeological site of the Menhirs of Clendy is presented as suitable for a family walk. The museum also offers birthday packages for children.
