Musée d'ethnographie de Genève (MEG)

The Musée d'ethnographie de Genève (MEG), located in Geneva, Switzerland, is an ethnography museum whose permanent exhibition 'The Archives of Human Diversity' presents over 1,000 objects selected from its collections of more than 75,000 items representing cultures from the five continents. The museum also houses an ethnomusicology section with musical instruments from around the world and the International Archives of Popular Music. It hosts changing temporary exhibitions and offers a rich program of activities, guided tours and workshops.
Families and Kids
The MEG offers guided tours and workshops specially designed for children and school groups, adapted to their age and school level. The temporary exhibition is designed to be accessible to young audiences, with content understandable from age 8. Strollers are welcome in all museum spaces, and high chairs and changing tables are available.
