Musée des Ormonts
The Musée des Ormonts is located in the historic hamlet of Vers-L'Eglise, in the heart of the Vaud Alps in Switzerland. Its mission is to convey the many aspects of the history of the Ormonts valley through temporary exhibitions, publications and educational trails, covering built heritage, geology, place names, natural hazards, alpine economy and daily life. The museum regularly presents lively and playful exhibitions revealing a new facet of the valley, from the history of winter sports to old photographs and the legends of the devil. It also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
Families and Kids
The museum offers many games, films and recordings accessible to children and teenagers, and a space called 'la petite avalanche' welcomes the youngest to draw an avalanche. Visits for children's groups are adapted to the children's ages and are available on reservation.
