Musée des Grenouilles

The Musée des Grenouilles (Frog Museum) in Estavayer-le-Lac, Switzerland, is a museum of history, art and taxidermy curiosities located in the heart of the medieval town of the Cité à la Rose. Housed in the former residence of Count Humbert le Bâtard, it displays objects dating from the Neolithic to the present day. Its flagship collection is the set of 108 anthropomorphised frogs staged by François Perrier in humorous scenes of 19th-century daily, bourgeois and military life. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions that bring heritage and contemporary creation into dialogue.
