Musée de Carouge

The Musée de Carouge is a municipal museum in Carouge, Switzerland, housed in the historic Maison Montanrouge in the Vieux-Carouge district. Its collections span emblematic ceramic creations, contemporary art, and historical artefacts and documents, with a strong regional focus on the heritage of Carouge. The museum is particularly known for its fine faience collection and for organising the biennial International Ceramics Competition since 1987. It also hosts changing temporary exhibitions linked to local life and culture.

The museum offers children's workshops, such as cyanotype and ceramic painting activities, aimed at children from around 10 years old, organised in connection with its temporary exhibitions. Families can also enjoy the museum's Mediterranean garden.
