Mineralbad & Spa Samedan

The Mineralbad & Spa Samedan in Samedan, Switzerland, is Switzerland's first vertical mineral bath. Across five floors, visitors experience a mystical bathing ritual with bathing and steam rooms fed by mineral water from its own spring. The highlight is the rooftop bath with views of the Engadin mountains. In addition to the bathing ritual, the house offers massages, treatments and baby swimming courses.

Families and Kids

Children under 16 may only visit the mineral bath accompanied by an adult and until 5:00 pm. There are reduced entry prices for children and baby swimming courses in 35 °C mineral water. Swimming diapers are mandatory for toddlers in the water.

FAQ

  • Are there age restrictions for children at Mineralbad Samedan?
    Children under 16 may only use the mineral bath accompanied by an adult and until 5:00 pm. Children under 1 year are not admitted. Swimming diapers are mandatory for toddlers in the water.
  • Do I need to reserve for entry?
    No reservation is needed for entry. However, there may be waiting times on busy days. Early reservation is recommended for Day Spa packages, treatments and massages.
  • What swimwear is allowed?
    Swimwear is mandatory. Allowed are swimsuits, bikinis, tankinis, burkinis, swim trunks or swim shorts specifically designed for water use. Wearing underwear under swimwear is not permitted.
  • Are smartphones and photography allowed?
    No. Photography, audio recordings and the use of smartphones and other electronic devices are not permitted throughout the facility.
  • Can children book massages?
    Children and young people under 16 cannot book a massage. From 16 years, a massage is only possible accompanied by an adult; from 18 years it is allowed without accompaniment.
