Mazot Museum
The Mazot-Musée in Plan-Cerisier, in the municipality of Martigny-Combe in the Swiss canton of Valais, is described as the smallest museum in Switzerland dedicated to vines and wine. Housed in a traditional mazot (mountain chalet), it presents its collection under the theme of humour and wine, with objects donated by local residents. The museum also serves as an exhibition space for artists and a convivial reception venue for seminars and gatherings of up to 15 people. It hosts changing temporary exhibitions throughout the season.
Families and Kids
The Mazot-Musée welcomes school classes from 4th to 9th HarmoS year by reservation, with a pedagogical dossier focused on natural sciences, plant biology and the vine. Some activities also link to visual arts and French, allowing interdisciplinary project-based learning.
