Maison de la Nature Montorge

Located in Sion, Switzerland, at the heart of the protected Montorge site, the Maison de la Nature is a playful exhibition and meeting place focused on nature. From late March to early November it offers exhibitions and educational activities on a theme renewed each year, allowing young and old to discover the secrets of their local environment. Housed in a former icehouse renovated and inaugurated in 1989 by the City of Sion, it emphasizes experimentation, discovery and enjoyment. The surrounding Montorge site is rich in fauna and flora, including a lake known for its white water lily and dragonflies.
